There are three officially recognized degrees of
Freemasonry:
- 1° - Entered Apprentice
- 2°
- Fellowcraft
- 3° - Master Mason
These
degrees are conferred in a 'Craft Lodge'.
When a man has been
raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason, in addition to being eligible to hold office in the Craft Lodge, he is also
eligible to petition the appendant bodies of Freemasonry for membership. Although some of these appendant
bodies confer their members with numerical degrees, that go above 3°, there is no degree 'higher' than Master Mason (3°).

Royal Arch (York Rite)
Union Chapter 7 - meets 3rd Wednesday
of each month
The Royal Arch Chapter is the second of four Chapters that comprise the York Rite of Freemasonry
(the first Chapter being comprised of the first 3 degrees received in the Craft Lodge). The Royal Arch Degrees continue the
education which the Master Mason received in the Craft Lodge.

of The Mystic Shrine ("Shriners")
Sou' West Shrine Club - meets 2nd
Thursday of each month at 6:30pm
The Shriners have evolved through world wars, the depression, and human catastrophes since the first meeting held
in New York City Masonic Hall on September 26, 1872. Their fraternal commitment and dedication resulted in the establishment
of the Hospital for Sick Children in June 1922 in Shreveport, La.

The Order of the Eastern Star is the largest fraternal organization
in the world to which both men & women can belong. Master Masons, their wives, and women closely related to a Master Mason
are eligible for membership.
